Henry McCann, DAOM, L.Ac., Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM) Our director, Dr. McCann, is a professional practitioner of Oriental medicine licensed to practice in NJ, NY, MA, and RI. He is a graduate of the New England School of Acupuncture. He then finished an advanced doctoral degree in Chinese medical gynecology and geriatric medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. Dr. McCann is a former Fulbright scholar to Japan and has a B.A. and B.M. from Oberlin College. He is an experienced teacher who works on the faculty of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (NY) and was a former core faculty member at the Eastern School of Acupuncture (NJ). Additionally, Henry has taught courses for acupuncturists and other health care providers in the United States and Europe. He is the core teacher for most of our courses. Candace Sarges, M.Ac., L.Ac., Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM) Candace is an experienced practitioner of Oriental medicine who graduated with a Master's degree from the New England School of Acupuncture where she also assisted in teaching various courses. She has a B.S. from the University of Connecticut and finished pre-medical training at Harvard University. Kathleen H. Robinson, J.D., M.B.E., M.A.T. Dr. Robinson is a practicing attorney who received her law degree and master's degree in bioethics from the University of Pennsylvannia. She also has a bachelor's and master's degree from Cornell University and has extensive teaching experience in the sciences. Dr. Robinson instructs medical ethics for the AOM provider. She has been admitted to the bar in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Lama Rangbar Nyimai Ozer (Visiting Faculty) Lama Rangbar is a lama in the white robed non-monastic Nyingmapa tradition, and the director of the Himalayan Light Foundation and the Evam Mingyur Ling Sacred Arts and Healing Sciences College in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is experienced in numerous aspects of Tibetan sacred and healing arts and is a guest teacher of Tibetan sacred medicine. Amchi Sherab Tendzin (Visiting Faculty) Amchi (Doctor) Sherab is a traditionally educated Tibetan physician who is a master of all aspects of Tibetan health sciences. His current residence is in Kathmandu, Nepal where along with Lama Rangbar he is in the process of reviving the tradition of making sacred medicines in the classical way. He is a guest teacher of Tibetan sacred medicine. Paschal McSweeney, Dipl. Ac., Dipl. Tuina, B. Eng. Paschal is our European course coordinator. He is a graduate of the Lansdowne College, Dublin, and runs a busy private acupuncture practice in Cork, Ireland. Paschal is a long time Qigong student and currently runs the Cork Institute of Postgraduate Acupuncture .
