Hunyuan Baisc 24 Movement Form

This is the beginning entry-level form in the Hunyuan Chen Style Taiji system. Above it is performed by Wang Fengming, an 11th generation Chen Style and 2nd generation Hunyuan style Taiji master (and Dr. McCann's shifu). Below are listed all the movements in the form:

Section 1 第一段

1.     Opening Posture (wú jí qǐ shì 無極起式)

2.     Buddha’s Warrior Pounds the Mortar (jīn gāng dǎo duì 金刚捣碓)

3.     Leisurely Tie the Coat (lǎn zhā yī 懒扎衣)

4.     Six Blocking Four Closing (liù fēng sì bì 六封四閉)

5.     Single Whip (dān biān 单鞭)

6.     White Crane Spreads its Wings (bái hè liàng chì 白鹤亮翅)

7.     Walk Obliquely and Twist Step (xíe xíng ǎo bù 斜行拗步)
