Year of the Monkey Tung Series: Classical Chinese Hand Acupuncture - The Tung Family Tradition (Day 1)

  • Institute for Classical Asian Medicine 12 Main Street Madison, NJ 07940 USA (map)

Join us for our Year of the Monkey series on Tung Acupuncture. This year we begin with an in depth look at classical Chinese hand acupuncture!

The Tung family lineage is a classical method of acupuncture dating back to the Han dynasty. One of the unique and special features of Tung’s system is that different areas of the body are used as microsystems that can treat the entire body. While most acupuncturists are familiar with hand microsystems such as Korean hand acupuncture, few are aware of classical Chinese hand acupuncture systems such as Tung’s. This course will introduce the essential concepts of Tung’s approach to treatment with a focus on the hand microsystem in managing pain and neurological conditions. We will cover all Tung’s points on the hand including many that have yet to be published in English.

Class will be held on two consecutive Sundays. NCCAOM approved for 14 PDA/CEU hours. $400 for both days, $375 for NJAAOM members or students currently enrolled in a Master's degree program. Please contact us for more information or to register. PARTICIPANTS ARE LIMITED TO 12 – PLEASE REGISTER EARLY.
