This online webinar is an introduction to Clinical Qigong (i.e., Medical Qigong). We cover a basic overview of the history and role of pre-Qigong practices in East Asian Medicine and longevity traditions, and discuss the modern application of the techniques in an East Asian Medicine clinical setting. We will focus on the original patient practice approach rather than external Qi healing, as this latter, while with some history, is mostly a modern invention dating back only a few decades. We will conclude with an experiential segment to orient participants. Participants who are interested in continued training can participate in our 30 hours full course on Clinical Qigong.
