Gratitude, Grace and a month of Self Reflection Course with ToDo Institute

Once again, our friends at the ToDo Institute are running their month long course, Gratitude, Grace and a month of Self Reflection.

This is an unusual program. For one thing, you won’t be spending your time listening to presentations. You won’t be in a passive mode, hearing about what someone else has learned.

You’ll be doing the learning. You’ll be in the active role, reflecting deeply on the truth of your life, using prompts provided to you each morning. It may sound trite, but the Naikan reflection process can be life-changing. If you clear a small quiet space in your life and in your heart each day for this guided self-reflection process, you may stumble upon truths that change the trajectory of your life or of your relationships.

The instructor, Gregg Krech, is the leading proponent of Naikan self-reflection in North America today, and was my teacher for Japanese Psychology. He has been conducting Naikan Retreats for 35 years, and has spoken and written extensively about the profound nature of this practice. The anniversary edition of his book, Naikan: Gratitude, Grace, and the Japanese Art of Self-Reflection celebrates 20 years, and has been translated into seven languages. He is also the author of 6 other books, including Question Your Life: Naikan Self-Reflection and the Transformation of Our Stories.

Join ToDo as they help people make time for self-reflection, even during the rush of the holiday season. Readers of my blog can participate at a 30% discount. Just enter “mccann30” as your discount code when registering. Please go here for more information or to register for the course.
